Writing format

Hi,
I'm writing a novel and have two questions.
Does iOS iPad have a text document? I only see fountain, markdown, and new folder.
Second question, can I format it as I go? I can't seem to indent paragraphs as I'm writing (on both android and iPad).

Hi Wrenji,

Welcome to JotterPad forum!

JotterPad supports .txt, .md and .fountain format. However, we did not enable .txt format as an option in new document. This is because some users are confused with rendering of Markdown rich text in plain text document.
Markdown does not support indentation in paragraph.

Normal paragraphs should not be indented with spaces or tabs.

We understand that some users wish to indent a new paragraph. There are some ways we can workaround the Markdown rules:

Paragraphs get indented when printed to PDF using templates
We can add indentation to all paragraphs in the future (for display only)
