Marcus I want to make a simple organic chemistry molecule (2-methyl 2-chloro propane). How do I draw it in JotterPad?
Jeromy Hi Marcus! You can use the SMILES notation plugin to draw the chemistry molecule in JotterPad. Type 3 backticks followed by smiles into your editor. E.g.smiles Tap enter or the space key. The chemical structures code block would be rendered. Insert SMILES notation such as c1ccccc1O. To print the chemical structures with PDF, type renderAs=openBabel into the "Metadata" box of the Preformatted option. I hope this helps!
